ABOUT ME
I started my career in digital marketing. Back then, my writing skills were limited to crafting Google Ads. Capturing the attention of potential buyers within two lines of 25 characters each and a third line of 35 characters was a real challenge. I loved it. I was fascinated by the art of word selection to grab people's attention and drive clicks. I could spend hours tweaking and testing different variations.

I started reading personal development books in 2018. The first book I ordered was The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss. My mind was blown. A new world of knowledge had opened to me. For the next couple of years, I read one self-help book after another. I'd fallen in love with the transformational effect each book could have on me.
In 2019, when I started my own business to help professional women stand out on LinkedIn, my writing abilities evolved. I began writing weekly newsletters and numerous LinkedIn posts to promote my services. Occasionally, I'd receive compliments on my writing, and it would always surprise me. I had never considered myself as a gifted writer; I simply wrote out of necessity.
Initially, I focused on optimizing LinkedIn profiles for the algorithm to increase visibility in searches. But soon, my clients started asking for help in crafting their professional narratives. Many felt their careers lacked a clear direction. I loved helping them find the common thread and the right angle to tell their stories in a way that captivated both the reader and themselves.

Then came the idea for my first book. I received an email with the subject line "you should write a book," and I knew instantly that it was true. I signed up for the program described in the email without hesitation. A few months later, the book program creator, a LinkedIn expert himself, invited me to collaborate on a book about mastering LinkedIn: "60 Days to LinkedIn Mastery". I said yes. We released the book within four months, and it instantly reached the Wall Street Journal bestseller list. I never thought I'd be able to add 'Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author' to my resume.

Since that first book success in 2021, I've had many ideas for other books. The only one that stuck is writing my father's memoir, which I'm currently working on. My father dedicated much of his life to building a family business. He's not thrilled about reminiscing the past. But, he appreciates the idea of leaving a legacy behind for his grandchildren, who, one day, will be able to read about his life and learn more about their roots.

Writing my father's memoir is my pilot project for my brand new service: Memoir Writing. Learn more here.
